Banco de la República, the institution that inspires the most confidence

According to the thirteenth version of the Opinion Panel of the Cifras & Conceptos firm, Banco de la República was once again recognized as the institution that generates the most trust among opinion leaders. This year it received a rating of 69 points out of 100, which is a higher score than they received in 2020.

The company did 1,544 surveys of opinion leaders in Bogotá and the urban areas of Antioquia, Atlántico, Boyacá, Caldas, Cauca, Cesar, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, Meta, Norte de Santander, Risaralda, Santander, and Valle del Cauca between 9 July and 14 October 2021.

Trust in the institution confirms the rigorous and transparent work of more than 2,800 people who have left their mark on the country with their activity, especially in a challenging year in which Banco de la República has concentrated on making monetary policy decisions to consolidate the country's economic recovery after the impact generated by the pandemic.

According to Cifras & Conceptos, the leaders who were consulted are the ones who shape the climate of opinion, have the capacity for foresight, and can influence political issues and topics on the national agenda.
