The commemoration of fifteen years of activities of the Center for Regional Economic Studies (CEER in Spanish) has a special significance within the institutional life of Banco de la República (the Central Bank of Colombia) because its creation meant a significant step forward in the purposes of decentralization and regional presence that have been guiding the Bank for several years now.
