Winners of the 2025 National Academic Economics Competition (CANE in Spanish)
On October 23, the awards ceremony for the 15th National Academic Economics Competition (CANE in Spanish) took place. This academic initiative, organized by the Student Council of the School of Economics at Universidad del Rosario, aims to promote academic exchange and enhance economic knowledge among students from across the country.
In the fifteenth edition of the competition, three universities were recognized for their outstanding performance. Thirty-one universities participated in this edition, each represented by a team of five students.

Since 2009, Banco de la República has supported this initiative through the guidance and expertise of its researchers, who have contributed as members of the judging panel. In this edition, Julián Parra, senior economist, participated as an evaluating judge.
