According to the statistics from the international repository Research Papers in Economics (RePEc), Banco de la República  (the Central Bank of Colombia) reaffirms its position as a global benchmark in economic research by accounting for the majority of the most accessed authors worldwide during March 2026.

RePEc is the world’s leading economic research collaborative repository, with millions of documents and monthly downloads.

According to figures updated as of 9 April 2026, 14 researchers from Banco de la República stand among the Top 25 most accessed authors worldwide, accounting for 56% of the total ranking. This leadership is even more evident at the top positions: 8 of the 10 most accessed authors worldwide are affiliated with the Bank, reflecting the strong recognition and widespread use of its academic output by the international community.
