Banco de la República has been for 14 years the most trusted institution among opinion leaders in the country

In the 'Cifras y Conceptos' 2023 Opinion Panel, 1,523 political, media, academic, business, social, and digital leaders recognized the Bank as the most trusted institution.

According to the 2023 Opinion Panel of the firm Cifras y Conceptos, Banco de la República (the Central Bank of Colombia) continues to rank first among the most trusted national institutions in Colombia, receiving a score of 81 points out of 100, higher than in previous years.

In the fifteenth measurement carried out this year, the opinion of 1,523 political leaders, media outlets, academics, the private sector, social organizations, and digital leaders was taken into account through surveys conducted between 11 May and 30 July 2023, in urban areas of the following departments: Antioquia, Atlántico, Bogotá, Boyacá, Caldas, Cauca, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, Meta, Nariño, Risaralda, Santander, Tolima, and Valle del Cauca.

Banco de la República will continue working with transparency and independence for the well-being of Colombian households by preserving the purchasing power of the currency, supporting sustained economic growth, and contributing to financial stability and the proper functioning of payment systems, the generation of knowledge, and the country's cultural activity.
