Registration for the 2009 Cartagena Conference is through the website of the North American Regional Science Council (NARSC).  On-line registration and payment is easy as a few clicks of the mouse. The registration web site will open December 20, 2008.

If you have not used the NARSC site to pay for other conferences, here are some simple step-by-step directions:

1. Go to the NARSC website: http://www.narsc.org/

2. Click on the "User Area" tab in the menu on the left side of the page.
   
   If you have not previously registered yourself on the NARSC website you will need to supply some contact information and so forth.
   
   When you reach the login page of the User Area, you will be asked to click on a link and enter your e-mail address (username) so we can check if you are already in our database. If you registered for a conference through this web site previously and remember your password, you are ready to proceed. If you forgot your username/password, or are a member of a North American regional science organization but never attended a North American Regional Science Conference, you most likely are in our database and your username/password combination will be e-mailed to you so you can login. If you are not in our database, you will need to register for a free NARSC user account and then you will be able to register for the conference. You can come back to your User Area to add items to your registration. If you have questions about your logging in, please contact the manager’s of this website.

3. Once you are into the User Area, click on "Conference Registration.”

4. In the pull-down window to choose a conference, select "RSAmericas."

5. You'll be able to pay for your registration fee using either MasterCard or Visa.
   

You may only register one delegate at a time. You can come back to this page to register another person.

Students must provide the name of a sponsoring faculty member in the space provided on the registration page.
Conference registration fee will include:

Refund Policy

For any cancellations received before 5pm EST on January 30, 2009, RSAmericas will retain $30 of your registration fee to cover credit card and related handling charges. For students, $25 of the registration fee will be retained for cancellations through January 30, 2009, 5pm EST. $10 of any guest reception and dinner order will be retained for cancellations until 5pm EST on January 30, 2009. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued after 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on January 30, 2009.If you are unable to attend, however, you may transfer your registration to another attendee by contacting NARSC’s Executive Director, Jean-Claude Thill. Refund requests should be submitted to NARSC’s Executive Director, Jean-Claude Thill.
