The flight of
the shaman is represented on this item in a way which is
more complex than usual. The body of a bird with its crest
shaped in the form of a human figure and with perforated
wings supported by auxiliary birds, forms a unit with another
human figure which, at the same time, doubles as the head
of a larger bird decorated with hanging disks.
