As Financial Superintendent, he was co-director of the Regional Consultative Group for the Americas of the Fund of the Financial Stability Board (FSB - RCGA), member of the Central American Council of Supervisors, member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Banking Supervisors of the Americas (ASBA), Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Inter-American Institute of Human Values, and representative of Colombia to IOSCO, ASSAL, IAIS, among other international entities.

 

Participated as a member of the Colombian Negotiating Group and the Group of Legal Experts of the Commercial Treaty with Mexico and Venezuela (G3), of the Colombian delegation negotiating several bilateral investment agreements, and of the Colombian delegation negotiating the Free Trade Agreement with the USA and Canada - Chapters on investment and financial services.

 

He has taught in the fields of Central Banking and Currency Legislation at Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
